Felt Roofing

Waterproofing

We have been felt roofing for over 35 years and it is one of key our specialties. We still use the traditional method of hot bitumen to bond the layers of felt together. Today many contractors choose to only use a flame gun, to melt the layers of felt together. We believe this is an inferior method and that it will not last as long. Our tried and test method of using melted bitumen between the layers of felt, creates a strong, durable and water tight bond that will last for several years. We also offer felt roof insulation which is very popular for those having their felt roof replaced. We recommend having your felt roof insulated to help regulate the temperature inside the room the felt roof covers. This can be particularly useful for extensions, as well as garages, especially when fridges and freezers are stored in them, as the insulation can help to maintain operating temperatures.
